About the Project
Later, was an idea that came about when a father was sitting on the couch reading a Reddit post and saw his toddler making a mess at the dinner table. He got up to assist only to forget what he was doing. Returning to his phone “later” the app had refreshed and what he was reading was a distant memory.
The Later app uses an iPhone feature that can be found under Accessibility. The feature is called “Tap Back” and it allows you to set an action to be performed when you tap the back of your phone two or three times. When you tap the back of your phone the app will “save” whatever you were doing at that moment to the app. You can then go back to the app “later” and pick up right where you left off.
The prototype shows hotspot hints so you can click around and interact with some of the elements. Just click on some white space in the prototype and you will see flashes of blue, that indicate the elements you can interact with.
